This is, in part, due to the fact that men are coming from a lower base, as women embraced online shopping first. Research suggests that 85% of women use the Internet daily. Research also suggests that some 74% of adult females shop online at least occasionally, some 22% of women shop online daily, and some 84% of women compare prices online. Some 97% of women with a tablet have used it to shop online. US research suggests that women account for 58% of all online spending. It is certainly the case that women often enjoy the process of shopping and, indeed, visiting bricks and mortar stores more than men.
