CREATE A CULTURE THAT DELIVERS INNOVATION – 3 OBSERVATIONS It is often said that the United States is the most innovative nation on earth. Whether or not that is true, one thing is certainly true – few countries commercialise more innovations than the United States. It is also clear that the United States has a better track record of commercialising innovations than Australia. Why is this so? Some would argue that this is largely due to the lack of government support and subsidies in Australia. I would argue that while this might be a factor, the potential for decreased costs and increased revenue should be enough to encourage innovation.
