compete in a world where every business can be more equal I believe in a free enterprise economy. I imagine that most of us do. For all its failings, and there are many, there appear to be few, if any, viable alternatives. In a free enterprise economy, I believe big business and small business should compete freely – by definition. On this basis, I am 100% against any restrictions placed on big business to support small business, and every incentive given to small businesses to help them compete with big business. The economy is either free enterprise or it is not. I find it self-serving, indeed, when small business people complain about their lot – while still extolling the virtues of capitalism.
