The majority of consumers, at least in the UK, like being marketed to by way of text messages. At the very least, they like receiving offers this way. This point is further emphasised in the study by the finding that 78% of people ‘wished that they could have a conversation with a business by text. This finding suggests that, in the UK at least, text messaging may be preferred to a ‘real conversation’.
