I am a reformed political junkie. Until very recently, I read, listened to and watched everything I could on politics. I have always seen politics as being at the heart of our society and a reflection of who we are as a community. In addition, I have always enjoyed the debating of ideas and watching passionate people trying to move the nation forward through the implementation of what they believe are better ideas. I have not always agreed with those ideas, but I have generally respected the people who formulated they and understood that politicians on all sides might be right, may know more than me about an issue, and above all else may be right. Many time policies I have not agreed with have been right, and that too is a good thing. I have taken sides, but I have always believed that on both sides, indeed all sides…
