I am not a scientist and unlike the fanatics on either side of the equation, I cannot say with any certainty whether climate change is happening or whether man is responsible. On the basis of all that I have read and heard, it seems clear to me that climate change is underway, and represents a real danger for the planet and its inhabitants. Based on the fact that there is now no credible scientific organization in the world, and fewer than 3% of relevant scientists that question that climate change is manmade, I am also inclined to believe it is. But – I don’t know for sure. What I do know for sure is that this should not be a political issue and that science should be driving the debate, not self-interest.
