THE LINE BETWEEN ACHIEVABLE AND UNACHIEVABLE, REASONABLE AND UNREASONABLE IS BECOMING BLURRED When I left home, my expectation was for a cheap old house that I could share with two or three mates – and a car that would get me from A to B. When my son left home his expectations were for a 2 bedroom unit with views and a modern kitchen that he could bring supermodels home to – and a car that was no more than a week old. Now, I take some of the responsibility for these expectations and the gap between what was reasonable and achievable and – what was not.
