The new buzzword is sustainability. Sustainability, means different things to different people, but is seen by many to involve ensuring a product, service or business is environmentally, socially and economically durable. Some say it is about asking and answering three questions: Is it good for the individual? Is it good for the community? Is it good for the planet? Many say that sustainability is about: Developing better products – maximising efficiency and minimising costs Engaging employees – retaining them and making them more productive Selling more products – attracting premium pricing and volume sales These are all benefits of a sincere commitment to sustainability.
