A senior member of my team recently resigned after 2 years with the firm. She joined LINC after working for 10 years in a similar role in United Kingdom. When asked why she was resigning, she said that it had nothing to do with LINC, nothing to do with money, nothing to do with the kind of work and it was not about moving to another job. It was about moving out of consultancy and moving to what we affectionately call “the dark side”. She said that she was frustrated with “banging her head” against what she saw as a “brick wall” surrounding many organisations that she had worked with in Western Australia.
