WE LIVE IN A WORLD OF FEAR AND WE NEED TO UNDERSTAND THAT FEAR. I am not sure anyone actually looks at a product or services, other than bungy jumping (in my case) and saying I am afraid of you. I would argue that people are generally not afraid of products and services, they are just generally nervous and afraid and this in turn makes them: Less likely to take a chance or risk – unwilling to buy something too far from the norm. Very protective of their image – less likely than ever to access anything that is not ‘normal’ More likely to buy a discount product or not buy anything at all.
