The question is therefore, with these competitors in the market and growing in strength, do taxi operators like Swan Taxis, Premium Cabs, Silver Top and many others have a future? No, they don’t. They can use the law, regulation, media relations and small innovations to extend their life cycle, but in essence – as a result of disruptive innovation, and disruptive technology – taxi operators are moving into their death phase.
