Clearly presentation is not everything, but it sure is important – SO IMPORTANT I went to a seminar during the week hosted by one on the largest consulting firms in the world. As per usual, at the end of the event I was given and asked to complete a feedback form. I did just that. I indicated that whilst the content was a little lightweight, it was generally good. I learned something, or at the very least took away a few points to ponder later. It is said that if you take three salient points away from a seminar, it was time well spent. I also indicated that the presentation was, in my ‘oh so humble’ view dreadful, and It was. Both speakers devalued the quality of the content and the obvious depth of their knowledge and experience by presenting very poorly indeed. Presentation is so important. Indeed research suggests…
