PRODUCT LIFE CYCLE I was saddened today to hear of the death of Edward Gough Whitlam. It reminded me however that everything has a life time of a life cycle. It reminded me that everyone and everything comes to a natural end. This is of course a lesson that Kodak never learned. It is not only important to understand that everything has a life span it is important to know at any time exactly where a product is in its lifecycle. It is important to monitor the market, the competitive environment and changes in technology and know when regeneration will be necessary. Too few organisations pay sufficient attention to these issues.
