My car is a 2002 Jaguar XJ8 which I purchased new in 2002 (surprisingly enough). For me, this car has always been an example of excellence. Certainly, it is not the best car in the world from an engineering perspective (although in all those years it has cost less than $20,000 in repairs) and today there are much cheaper vehicles with much better technology. It goes fast, but is by no means a fast car. It is certainly not a ‘chick magnet’. What it is, however, is as quiet as a mouse, as graceful as an eagle, and as smooth as silk.
